Private Entrance and Basement Guest Suite

This is a private basement guest suite with your own entrance & keyless entry. There is a separate entrance though the garage so you can come and go as you please. You’ll have your own bathroom, laundry room (we will occasionally need access to the laundry depending on your length of stay) and extra room – Basically the entire basement is yours! You are welcome to do anything from relax in the hammock in our large backyard to watching Netflix on the TV in your room. We want our guests to have the most comfortable stay possible!

You will have access to the in-room coffee/tea bar which includes a microwave, mini fridge stocked with water bottles, coffee maker and other assorted small snacks. There is also a TV with access to Netflix and Hulu. If you’d like to get out of the house for a while, you are more than welcome to make yourself at home in our large fenced backyard.
There will also be soaps, shampoos, and towels for showering in the bathroom and access to the washer/dryer in the laundry area.

The second bedroom with the sofa bed is our craft storage room, so it is not as “cute” as our main bedroom but it is still very comfortable!

The basement area is yours, and we will be out of your way. There’s a door separating the upstairs from the downstairs to keep the noise level from our kiddos down, but please don’t hesitate to ask if there is something that you need! We want you to be comfortable! We have 3 kids and a super friendly boxer, but they stay upstairs! Their bedtime is 9:30-8:00 and they will be quiet during that time.

We also provide a booklet with information about your stay as well as our favorite places to eat or visit during your stay in Lincoln. We are happy to socialize or to let you have your space! Whatever you prefer!

We live in a quiet established neighborhood, but we are only 10 minutes from downtown and a short drive to Gateway Mall, various restaurants, etc. There is also a park two blocks away and we have lots of places to walk nearby. We are within short walking distance of St. Elizabeth Hospital and have had many people stay with us while visiting friends or family in the hospital.
